TMD TEAMWORK (AUGUST 16th-21st  2021) 5900 6 EURO DAYS POINTS 59

MASTER LEVEL TMD TEAMWORK

6 DAYS OF INTENSIVE TRAINING!

TMD Teamwork is a training for prosthodontists , orthodontists, physiotherapists and surgeons who want to treat patients from a high-risk group without fear. It is a course on the border of dentistry and broadly understood medicine, emphasizing cooperation between specialists in many fields.

Before the training, during watching webinars, you will learn how to read a radiological image on panoramic photos, CBCT and magnetic resonance imaging. You will learn the secrets of the function and dysfunction of the articular disc and the cooperation between the dentist and the physiotherapist. Other pre-course webinars will teach you about vertical occlusal dimension, centric relation, anatomy an physiology of TMJ.

Thanks to proper theoretical preparation before the course, we will be able to focus on mostly on the workshops onsite.

We start our hands on with advanced examination of the joint (with joint sound analysis), muscles, and cervical spine, posture by physiotherapist Julia Rutkowska.

Then we will introduce you to comprehensive diagnostics and ethiopoathogenesis of TMD, which is the basis for effective treatment.

The radiology day conducted by the duo Łukasz Lassmann and Marcin Sobotka is workshop with computers and many hours of analysis of radiological images with an emphasis on CBCT and MRI.

The invaluable Maria Radziwilska will introduce you to pre-prosthetic orthodontic preparation, articular pre-orthodontic preparation, orthodontics in CR, surgical support of orthodontics with corticotomy and implants.

You will be introduced to the world of apnea by dr Jarosław Sova, an ENT specialist and Łukasz Lassmann. During the workshop, you will perform registration for the anti-apnea TAP splint.

Maria Radziwilska will show you the methods of early prevention of malocclusion, controlling the growth of the face with orthotropy.

The fifth day is a speech therapy, physiotherapy and speech therapy treatment performed by the duo Maria Radziwilska and Julia Rutkowska. Examination, treatment and collaboration in the case of patients with TMD and impaired position and function of the tongue is a way to avoid trouble and relapse.

The last day is a treatment based on complex algorithms of splint therapy, pharmacotherapy, physiotherapy and targeted action on systemic diseases contributing to TMD.

Each of you receives a 3-piece splint, which you adjust during the training.

And the icing on the cake – group work with diagnostics and establishing a treatment plan for patients with TMD.
See you soon!
